The Bea Taylor Market at the Freestore Foodbank's Community Resource & Distribution Center is open to all. The pantry is not a religiously affiliated organization and food is not restricted based on faith. Anyone who needs help is welcome to visit.
Good to Know
The market is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors have shared that the staff is very kind and helpful, and the facility is clean and well organized. The Bea Taylor Market is a food pantry that served 53,904 families and provided 2,885,318 meals in fiscal year 2025. - Freestore Direct: A food delivery program that served 1,200 families in fiscal year 2025 — a helpful option for those without transportation.
- Healthy Harvest Mobile Market: A mobile market that brings food to the community.
- Rent & Utilities Assistance: $888,980 in rent and utility payments made in fiscal year 2025.

How to Join the Team?
Volunteers are a vital part of Freestore Foodbank's work. All volunteers must register online before their first visit.
At the Community Resource & Distribution Center (3401 Rosenthal Way):
- Volunteers can help pack Power Packs, Senior Food Boxes, Emergency Boxes, Summer Kid Boxes, or VA Produce Boxes.
- Up to 35 volunteers per shift.
- Minimum age: 13 years old (those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult).
At the Bea Taylor Market:
- Shifts available Tuesday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. during summer months (June through September).
- High school and college students can earn service hours.
All volunteers must:

- Wear closed-toed shoes with closed heels
- Wear shirts with sleeves (no inappropriate language or messaging)
Regular and ongoing volunteer roles (such as Cincinnati COOKS! assistant, Healthy Harvest Mobile Market assistant, or administrative roles) require an interview and may require a background check.
