Who Can Visit?

The Anderson Ferry Church of Christ Food Pantry serves residents who live in specific zip codes and meet income guidelines. You must live in one of these zip codes: 45001, 45002, 45030, 45033, 45041, 45052, 45204, 45211, 45233, 45238, 45248, or 45247. You also need to be at or under 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).

Items Needed for Registration

When you visit for the first time, make sure to bring the right paperwork. Based on visitor experiences, you should bring:

• A photo ID
• Proof of address (such as a utility bill)
• Proof of income (if you have any)
• Birth certificate (may be needed)

How Often You Can Visit?

You can visit the food pantry once per month.

Good to Know

The pantry is open on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. When you arrive, you may want to come early — one visitor shared that people waiting in line were served lunch before the pantry opened. The pantry also has free bins outside where you can look through items and take whatever you may need. Inside, there is a free raffle where you write down the number of an item you are interested in and drop it in a container at the desk. The staff and volunteers are known for being very kind, organized, and helpful.

Food & Essentials

Visitors can expect to receive a generous amount of food. Items provided have included meat, fresh vegetables, fruit, fresh bread, juice, milk, and even sweets for kids. One visitor noted they received food for a complete meal. Another said there were "tons of food, even sweets for the kids, meat, and fresh bread." The pantry also has other items to help fill the gaps between visits.

How to Pick Up

The food pantry distributes food boxes to visitors who come in person. Volunteers are on hand to assist you through the process.
