Cincinnati Urban Promise
Who Can Visit?
All families are welcome to shop at the Cincinnati Urban Promise food pantry. The pantry is open to everyone in the community — all races, creeds, religions, and backgrounds are welcome.
How Often You Can Visit?
Families are encouraged to shop whenever they need — not just once a month. You can come every week if that helps your family.
Good to Know
The pantry focuses on healthy eating and quality food. It is open on Mondays from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
How to Pick Up
The food pantry uses a shopping model where families come in and shop for themselves. The website describes it as a place where "families are invited to shop at our weekly pantry."
Additional Support
Beyond food, Cincinnati Urban Promise offers several other services to support families:
- Referral Services — Through partnerships with Mayo Home, Child Focus, Cincinnati Preschool Promise, and ODJFS, the organization can connect families to mental and physical health care opportunities.
- Spiritual Support — Through a partnership with Covenant Church of Westwood, the community is invited to worship, fellowship, and support one another in spiritual growth.
- Economic and Career Development — Adults have access to economic and career development as well as crisis care, mental health services, and courses in practical knowledge to improve everyday life.
- Urban Agriculture — Students and community members help reclaim vacant land to grow food and explore agricultural entrepreneurship.
