Church of the Advent
Who Can Visit?
The Open Door Food Pantry at Church of the Advent is open to anyone in the community who is facing food insecurity. There are no stated eligibility restrictions — neighbors are welcome to come as they have need.
Good to Know
The pantry is a small food pantry, and staff and volunteers are described as nice and helpful. Visitors are also welcome to enjoy hot coffee and warm conversation while they are there. The church also gives away lunches and donuts and coffee to people who come in for food Monday through Friday, so it may be worth calling ahead before visiting on those days. You can reach them at (513) 961-2100.
Food & Essentials
The Open Door pantry provides fresh produce — including seasonal produce and herbs grown in the on-site Good News Garden — along with meat, dairy, canned goods, and pantry staples.
How to Pick Up
Visitors come to the pantry during open hours to pick up food. The pantry is located on the lower level of the Church of the Advent building at 2366 Kemper Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45206. Pantry hours are Wednesdays, 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM.
Additional Support
